I don’t often get clients with “outies”, and when I do they often want me to minimize it. I don’t know where this aesthetic criteria came from. This mom thought hers was cute and I have to agree.
Sometimes this lighting set up works — sometimes it works great. I think this one has just enough ambient light.
This couple wanted to incorporate records into their photo session. With a large collection of 45′s we talked about doing a covered nude. None of us were sure if it would work, but I quite like it in this square format. I post processed it to give it a tone consistent with a late 60′s, early 70′s 45 record sleeve.
I really like this photo, but I wonder if the slight fraying on the fabric’s edge is distracting — and if it is, should I Photoshop in a clean line?
From the same photo session as yesterday as yesterday’s “What’s Kickin’?” photo, I thought this made for a great contrast in style and flavor.
To give this photo more depth, I added extra flowers off into the distance and then matched (and enhanced) the lens blur.
