You have to love that expression!

One of my favorite images from a session a few years ago:

This was a great session and I felt this pose in particular turned out very well. The top one is my favorite because of the hint of a smile. 

The next photo is a close second for me. I like the tones a little better, but that process did not work with the direct gaze.

Finally I have a color version, which does not work as well, but is still worth having as an option.

This is a pose I have done with many clients, with the husband holding the fabric “off-stage” to create a sweeping line. In this particular case, the line and form of the mom-to-be made for a perfect maternity portrait.
