Check out the little baby belly kick!

I’ve been creating maternity portraits for nearly 10 years now. Last year I began considering work on a project to create a guide for photographers. The idea was to create a posing guide first, as this seemed to be a needed resource.

I am moving into the next phase of this project and I would like to hear from anyone about whether a guide of this sort would be helpful and, if so, what specific things they might like to see, posing ideas, etc.

I had a great session this morning with this mom. She is a surrogate for the second time. The necklace she is wearing is a gift from the mother of one of the dads-to-be. I thought this photo captured her grace and kindness wonderfully.

This couple was in last week. I really liked the photos of them together. It was great to be able to capture that happiness!

This mom-to-be is a personal trainer. I love the grace and strength in her pose!

A very sweet couple - so happy together - expecting twins next month. Photographing them together was a pleasure!
